Pastor Saeed

Continue to pray for Pastor Saeed. His condition has worsened and he is now being threatened by other inmates. Through it all, he continues to stand strong for our awesome God!
"Hello to my dear love and wife,
When I saw my family for the first time behind the glass walls, I could see my mom four meters away. As she approached me and saw my face, she broke down and could not get closer. She was crying. I understood what she felt because after weeks of being in solitary confinement in Evin Prison, I also got to see my face in the mirror of an elevator that was taking me to the prison hospital. I said hi to the person staring back at me because I did not recognize myself. My hair was shaven, under my eyes were swollen three times what they should have been, my face was swollen, and my beard had grown..."
A letter from Pastor Saeed

Repent before it's too late!

Pastor Saeed

Pastor Saeed, a U.S. citizen, has been convicted and sentenced to eight years in prison for his Christian faith. Not just any prison, but the dreaded Evin prison in Iran. Below, his wife Naghmeh, shares the impact it has made in their family's life. Please continue to pray for this family.

By Naghmeh Abedini*

It has been 9 months since Saeed kissed the little foreheads of our children as he said his goodbyes early in the morning of June 22, 2012. Nine months since Daddy sung to them and tucked them into bed, and 9 months since I embraced my husband as we said our goodbyes, thinking at the time we would be separated only a few weeks, as he returned to Iran to continue work on building an orphanage. Maybe if I knew what was to unfold, I would have held him a little longer, talked a little longer?

Please take the time to read the rest of this dear woman's story. You can find it at: http://aclj.org/iran/wife-perspective-nightmare-husband-father-imprisoned-iran

Are You Ready To Lose Your Kids?

Around the country, teens are drifting away from the church at an alarming rate. In fact, over seventy-five percent leave the church as soon as they leave the home!

So what's the issue, why are teens abandoning their faith?

In today's culture, the Church is under assault. The schools and media are fighting against the Church from all fronts and we are sending our kids into battle unarmed and unprepared. We've been asking them to believe, but not giving them a reason to believe. They are assaulted with arguments and lies, which can easily be disputed, but because they're not equipped, they're easy prey to their attacks.
Well, I say, enough's enough! The enemy has put our youth in their crosshairs and I don't want to stand idly by and watch it happen.

The time's come to equip them for battle!

1 Peter 3:15 tells us to, "always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you."(NKJV)

The Bible shows us that we are to be equipped to defend our faith. It also tells us to, "Train up a child in the way he should go..." Proverbs 22:6a (ESV)

The evidence for the existence of God is out there.

Our youth have real and honest questions that need to be answered. Too many times, we give them the run around because we ourselves don't know the answers. The most common mistake is telling someone with doubt, "you just have to have faith." While it's true, faith is the way to salvation, blind faith is choosing to remain ignorant of the evidence that exists. God is the great architect of the universe and He has placed His signature all over it. Psalms 19:1 says, "The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship." (NLT)

So where do we find this evidence?

CrossExamined has set up a program geared specifically for equipping our youth. This program answers questions like;
1. Does Truth Exist?
2. Does God Exist?
3. Are Miracles Possible?
4. Is The New Testament True?
They are turning the tides on atheism and giving our youth what they want most; solid answers to Biblical objections.
